On the nike commercial, Tiger's dad says that he will never meet someone as mentally tough as he is. Well, better stay away from me. And I don't get paid $44 million from Nike.

blind golf
although Tiger is undeniably the greatest golfer of all time, his wincing irritated me somewhat in that my knee surgery is the least of my physical ailments. Besides my stroke and heart problems, I've played with a broken left hand and was blind the past two weeks. If you're a golfer, try hitting a ball with your eyes closed sometime (or running as fast as you can on wet ground for that matter).

Guys in my family kept saying that if Tiger didn't win that he would surely blame it on his knee, and when things didn't go well that he was limping on purpose. Don't worry, Polar Bill, we know you could kick his ass.
early on in our softball careers, my brother and I noticed that often when an outfielder misjudged a flyball, he would fall down and act hurt. In Carli language this we called a "softball injury". Eventually we shortened it to "SBI". Now we have begun to observe it in all sports (for example, Kobe and Paul Pierce have exhibited some SBI behavior in the NBA playoffs. This was discouraged in our neighborhood. My brother once walked home from a football game with a broken leg and was verbally abused all the way home for limping. A week before I had 5 bypasses, I played a doubleheader and the night before my heart valve replacement, I made 13 straight foul shots-I wish I had made 14 for good luck.
