I hate to promote fossil fuel companies when it will lead to our demise but if you want to get in on the ground floor of some oil sands companies, surge (SRGG) and Deep Well (DWOG) are some cheapies (8 cents and 68 cents a share). Be prepared to lose all your investment because these companies can go bankrupt or hit it big. They take oil-caked sand out of the ground in Canada and try to figure out how to get the oil out cheaply. I'm also looking at Vespa and Scwinn (They make scooters) to try to make money out of the high price of gasoline.
