Too hot to golf so I spent most of the day watching PBS. First I watched a show where they played the music of the greatest generation (Glenn Miller). A little corny but all recognizable and great musicianship. Then after a long walk in the hot sun, I came home and cranked up RAIN (a beatles impersonation group. Even though I can't sing, I had to try to hit the McCartney high notes of "Let it Be" We were the generation that was going to save the world but the bad guys got control again, at least for a while. Unfortunately, this time the bad guys may have screwed things up so bad that we won't be able to fix it. Gallows in the Rose Garden!
